Oh, thanks for pointing that out! I got a $15 coupon from them the other day, so that'll make it lower than the $69 price worship

I'm on the Fry's mailing list, but no 15% off coupon. How does one get one of those? edit: just read again and it's Google express that had the coupon. none in my area, bummer.

I'm guessing this Groupon you refer to is another Google express thing, right?

Hakko has always made good stuff. If you've been thinking about getting a soldering iron, do yourself a favor and don't get anything less than this one. You won't regret it.

No free shipping on Google Express!

Now the $15.00 coupon is not applied in the confirmation email and they over-charged my credit card.

No more Google Express for me.

for soldering a few wires together it's ok... go into more detailed and delicate/temp sensitive components and you are playing hot potato with a hand grenade that the pin has been pulled on.... not a matter of if something will get screwed up, but WHEN.
