Existing Ring Plus Free plan members who are stuck at a throttled LTE (256k) speeds are now eligible to change their plan to Full Speed 1000MB LTE with "Ice Cream" Free plan.

Login to your account and upgrade/change the plan.

FYI, Plan change becomes effective at next plan cycle; as we will be switching from a Free plan to another Free plan.

$10 auto topup needed. If you account balance is >$10, then we just pay the taxes which are around $1.65.

Hope this helps someone to upgrade from 256k LTE to Full Speed LTE on RingPlus.

poor merchant reputation: MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A CALL IN LESS THAN EVERY 60 DAYS, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DOWNGRADED TO FREE PLAN (125min/50text/25MB) WITH NO NOTICE. THIS WAS STARTED SINCE 07/11/2016.

My current plan is Queen of Hearts. When I select this Ice Cream, there is a 1.7 dollars tax but initial top-up is "Covered by Current Balance".

Is it normal for RingPlus to collect tax again when switching plan?

Nada about tethering. I'm not switching until I get full terms.
