Wish this case had horizontal mobo tray. Noctua is scary heavy to mount vertically.

I think vertical cases are probably about 90% of the cases used in PC builds. I'm pretty sure if you install it correctly, it will be fine. Otherwise, Noctua and every other aftermarket heatsink maker wouldn't be around.

Very tempted to jump on either this or the Elite 110 (same price AR) for a mini-itx build. Can't seem to find a mini-itx case that looks nice and has usb 2.0 ports on the front i/o (board doesn't have a 3.0 header).

Why? Is it the blue? Got Sharpie?

I've got the Siverstone SG05-BB [newegg.com] ($39) and don't notice it. Same for the even smaller build with a Antec ISK-150. Did have to put electrical tape over the power LED on the SG05. Waaay too bright. Oh, and both of those are horizontal mobos. Put a Noctua in the Antec for plenty of room, and MSI in the SG05, and gigabyte in the Antec for mobos.

Has nothing to do with aesthetics. The motherboard header for front panel USB 3.0 ports can't physically fit that for USB 2.0. The other person thus needs 2.0 ports on the front panel or needs to buy an internal USB motherboard header adapter.

Lack of front-end usb ports is inconvenient. The mobo I'm using only has rear 3.0 ports.

Whether you get this case or another without the front ports you need, you can try using this inexpensive adapter [amazon.com] (the kind I referred to in my post above) to use the front USB ports anyway. Only catch is that you'll of course be limited to 2.0 speeds for those ports.

Hmm, I'm actually not sure why I didn't run a search on these before. This makes it a lot easier. Thanks! woot

I'd rep if the mobile view would let me. Was going to suggest same but you beat me. They also have adapters that go the other way. IMHO, the USB3.0 header blows. Too danged big. Should have had two options - industrial and non-industrial (what PC builders would use).
