If I hadn't been suckered in by the recent Walmart deal@$249 for the wifi version, I'd be all over this. Wish it was 32gb ......or even more. From what I've seen, this is a steal. At least it has connectivity to offset the crippled low storage after factoring in the space needed for the IOS image.

FWIW....Apple has to get away from their memory "tiers" on pricing, it's going to be their Achilles heel and what brings them to their knees. We will all look back on that someday and just shake our heads in disbelief.... Just like MS charging for an OS. Who is it that makes those vapid business decisions? <rant mode off>

It may NOT out of box, you need a little workaround. If BYOD check doesn't pass, call sprint and ask them to add your device MEID into their database. And stop by a Apple store asking for a sprint SIM card. Then you should be on the boat

Its not an Apple refurb, I'd rather pay the extra for the new one at Walmart unless I had to have cell derive.

These things are $140 on CL, at least in Atlanta. And no, it's not refurbished, it's just used.

Please DO NOT MISLEAD

All iPad air, even the at&t version comes with full LTE bands support. According to the specs on at&t website [att.com], it has sprint LTE bands 25&26

Their IMEI/MEID may not in sprint whitelist database, that's why you need to call their customer service asking them to add, if you willing to use on Ringplus. After doing so, it's eligible to register on spring MVNO.

That's true, not really worth at this price.

IMO, iPad mini 2nd (retina) with LTE unlocked sold $189 refurbished on Groupon a few months ago seems better deal than this.

"manufacture refurbished" too misleading, or it's just wrong. I would go if it's apple refurb.

I've tried this numerous times and the CSRs are clueless. Any tips?
