WARNING: The panel in the TV is not a Samsung Panel. You can very easily confirm this by going into any store that has it on display and see on the back of the TV the "VERSION" will not be TS01 or TH01. Only those two versions are a Samsung LCD panel. Why do they do this? Simple, to get the customer that doesn't have a lot to spend into a TV that looks and smells like a high end TV but doesn't contain the high end build quality features.

There have been tests done that show some of the non Samsung panels actually out perform the Samsung panels. I have a JU7100 that has a different panel and I don't regret it at all. Too many people jump on the panel lottery bandwagon conspiracy without actually looking into it themselves.

Plasma actually. 5yrs old and still with better pq than any LCD tv available today. OLED looks promising, but prices need to come down a little more before I upgrade. LCD tvs need to die.

We bought this one last month. I spent way too much time reading reviews and comparing. Finally pulled the trigger and love it. It's been a solid tv. I would highly recommend it. We use it for movies, PS4, and streaming. The colors are fantastic and I'm now looking for another similar TV for upstairs. Sams did have this for $950 last month.
