Don't beat me up too bad, I have prime so I have no idea what it costs to ship otherwise. We needed a pizza cutter (our daughter stole ours), and found this on Amazon. Seems to be a great price for KitchenAid, and lowest on the camels. Only in black. Red and orange are like 3 times as expensive.

4.5 stars too. I mean, it cuts pizza. What. It's amazing. Well, pizza is.

I don't mean to thread crap but...

I have had this exact pizza cutter for ~8 years. In the last 8 years I have practically lived off pizza for 6 of them, most often frozen pizza. I own 6 pizza cutters now and have to say I cannot believe all the good reviews on amazon. This is far and away the cheapest made and worst.

As someone else stated the "chrome" is just a painted plastic. The bolt and nut that goes through the wheel is not stainless so it will rust really bad if you soak or run through dishwasher. The o-ring is cheap and breaks down causing the blade to wobble and is very hard to rotate.

Originally I bought it because I thought kitchen aid kitchen utensils would be of some of the best, but I learned its just cheap pieces with inflated prices to make it seem like its higher tiered. I will say if you dont have the problems I have it has a pretty large wheel so it has some potential to be decent.

You can find similar ones at the dollar store. Quality is surprisingly not bad for $1.

Good point...is there any difference in this one? Other than taking up a little more space than my current in my utensil drawer. Oh and the logo?

Does it cut pizza and quesadillas better?
Will my hand be less sore with this one, considering I use my pizza cutter over 2 times a month?

Inquiring minds want to know!
I will admit it does look nicer than my current.

I've had a dollar store wheel pizza cutter for about 7 years now. The steel is hardened and left at that. A file glides on the surface. Before that, a Farberware which had very soft steel. A plastic cutting board on its first go rolled the edge.

I have this cutter, it's pretty good. The "chrome" is not metal, it's a painted plastic. Mine was green and the plastic underneath the chrome was red, so it's a weird Christmas pizza cutter now

I am currently at a pizza joint. Is this a gift from the gods? Are they speaking or following me?
