This was just posted. How is it that so many people have already run to the store, not found any, and marked it as unable to replicate.

But wouldn't most of these YMMV clearance deals be things that are not replicateable except in the few stores that have them in stock. Irregardless of if I actually can replicate this, I appreciate the heads up, will keep my eyes open the next time I go to HD, and will hopefully be one of the lucky ones. Thanks OP.

all HD clearance sales vary from store to store, but they do seem to clearance it around the same time. I picked up this and another reg crowbar for 75% off (this price) at my store yesterday.

When these were first sold about 10 years ago they literarily said F Up Bar on them, Stanley was forced to pull from shelves, so they names it Functional Utility Bar to keep the FU on it, if you haven't used one for demo, you'd be surprised, they really do F things Up

You shouldn't be able to thumb down a YMMV deal with unable to replicate. People complain all the time about it, but I appreciate the heads up. I have been able to replicate some and not others, but always like a heads up.

I disagree. These are not deals they are mostly one of a kind aberrations. A deal is something available to the general public not some obscure item at one HD in some town in bumfuque, Iowa. Just my opinion.

And I disagree with you. YMMV deals are usually the best deals going. Easy to replicate deals can sometimes be good, but most likely they are just sales. I see you get overly upset when you can't replicate a YMMV deal. Wrong mind-set. You should thank the OP for bringing the YMMV deal to your attention. Be happy if you find it and be disappointed if you can't, then say "tough break" and move on. That's my opinion.

RamblinMan, I never once read a single word where hy_tek came across as overly upset in this thread. Sounds like you are the one with a chip on your shoulder.
