From Craftsman:
"NO WARRANTY
Warranty coverage is not offered on consumable or novelty items, including but not limited to the following: Bits, bulbs, replacement blades, alkaline batteries, filters, sandpaper, taps, dies, screw extractors, bolt-outs, safety glasses, gloves or other textile or leather products, plastic or metal hand boxes and outdoor grilling utensils."

I have also purchased the crappy HDX bit set from Home Depot and promptly returned it - horrible. I then got a Cobalt set from Lowe's which surprised me how good it is.

I don't know about this set, but cheap metal is cheap metal and not worth it because you end up stripping heads and having worthless worn bits. Then you have to postpone what you were trying to get done and get a decent set of bits.
Looks a lot like this one

I am a little worried about the reviews.

Update: I just went to store to check it out.
Well, you got what you paid for.
The metal is not the best ones I have seen but they are actually much better than they look in the picture.
The plastic case on the other hand is not so good.

Just some tips:
1. check the bottom right tool, the one I got is not empty as might indicated by the picture.
2. if you login with sears app for the first time, you will get $5 in points which bring down the price to $14.99 before tax.

For that price, I really don't mind getting one set like this, just would not use it as the main set.
But it is nice to have it when you meet those weird screws.

I've never seen a free shipping coupon from Sears.
Free shipping over $35.
Free in-store pick-up.
That's the lowdown for Sears.

The security bits popped out at me instantly. Those alone may be worth it

Awesome, been needing something like this.

What's the warranty on their bits? I had some home depot bits break into pieces last week.

This is a new item: Added on April 20, 2016. Wonder why they're selling it for half price already?
