These are low quality crap. Half the normal lifetime, not even A19. Don't waste your money.

I am not sure what A19 means, but it states that they are A19 in the heading for the product.

Lowe's was $5.98 for a 3-pack. let's round that to $6. That would be $24 for 12. So how is this deal better?

They were $6.98 for 3 which is ~$28 these are $26, and available for free shipping while the Lowe's deal was YMMV. (I am not sure why my title states $28 and I cannot edit it.)

I consistently see 3-packs of these at $10 bogo (so $5 each 3-pack). A 12-pack should be marginally less than $20 for it to be any kind of deal imho.

I haven't actually bought any to attest to their quality (or lack thereof) however.

Agree, not good. No heat dissipation, they will die fast.

I never thought about this. Are the Crees with the ugly heatsinks near the base better, then? I feel like Cree is a solid name and despite their look (which is ugly, but usually not visible in most cases) might be "good" LEDs.

These are good for garage door opener bulbs. They do not cause RF interference like many other bulbs do. They should last awhile for applications like that since they are not used for long periods of time.

Yes, in my experience, the original Cree LED design is still the best illumination (for soft white) and the best durability. I'm so annoyed that they're phasing this design out in favor of the 4FLOW crap...

The older Cree TW series from Home Depot were absolute crap. I had 4 of the 60W bulbs die on me in a 1-2 year span. Very poor heat dissipation on the TW model.
