Official Meijer Grocery Store Thread (deals & discussion)

What happened to this thread? Did it get shortened? where are the old posts? I was wondering when the Hanes underwear sock deal happened last year. Kiddos need new undies! Also, when did the health itmes deals go down. I just remember buying a lot of meijer foaming handsoap for like .08/bottle.

Fruit of the loom deal is going on now.. not sure if you're loyal to hanes. and seriously where is the rest of the thread?
Very disappointed about the bestlife butter... I just ordered a new batch of coupons and was hoping they would arrive by tom by the latest... Guess I'll call a couple of stores nearby just to doub check that mine changed over as well.

I think the thread automatically got smaller b/c of too many pages?? who knows. Yes i'm disappointed about the butter

What is the fruit of the loom deal? I got in on the hanes deal last time but not til right before the store closed on the last night of the deal. But I'd love to get more socks and undies. Thanks!

I think the system did a sweeping of the threads. Putting lots of stuff into archives. It seems most threads are/were short at the moment.

Ah, I've found a change in the system. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned. The screen to enter the codes at the self checkout are now limited to 5 digits. So, no more hand entering a UPC if something doesn't ring up.

I don't know if it was sitting in the machine prior to my order if it spat out during it. I used a GC to pay too. My purchase was mostly produce with a few grocery items.

But, received a CAT for a FREE 2x3 mini photo book w/ free S&H. Simply go on-line and redeem and create.

I had the same thing happen to me about not typing in the barcode. Just at the beginning of the month when the 20% off facebook coupon came out. It wouldn't scan & it wouldn't let me type it in Not cool!

Fruit of the Loom deal is back: Buy $10 in Kellogg's, Keebler or Eggo get $10 INSTANT off FOTL. Big boxes of Kellogg's are $1.99 & FOTL cheapest kids socks are $3.99. Looks like:

Oh my...I wish I knew when the koolaid deal starts. I have a coupon for $2 off Domino sugar when you guy 10 envelopes. Will combine nicely.

Folks, you can always go to the first page of the current thread and see the links to the RETIRED old threads. This Meijer thread has been retired twice: first back in June 2009 and a 2nd time earlier this week.

I'm guessing the plan would be
1 Meijer sugar
2 Domino sugar
20 Koolaid packets

subtract (2)$2.00 Domino coupons and subtract free Meijer sugar.

Unless they have a sale on the Domino sugar and Koolaid, won't be worth it to me. Domino is something like 2.69, Koolaid .15. Math would be:

1 Meijer sugar (free after deal)
2 Domino sugar = 5.38
20 Koolaid = 3.00
Total 8.38 - 4.00 coupons = 4.38 for 3 sugars and Koolaid. Good, but not great, IMHO.

EDIT: Actually, I think it was the Meijer sugar that was 2.69. Domino is even more. Maybe somebody else knows the price.

It's not a freebie but for my family, it's well worth it because it's stuff we would be buying anyway.
