To clarify, I only completed two transactions: one food transaction that generated CATS (two $3.50), and one non-food transactions. I used a self-scanner that was working poorly & the Cashier had to come over & help it work (a few times). I used very few coupons on this trip. At the end of my food order, she said, aren't you going to scan the other items in, & I said, "no"; separate transactions. Then, when I scanned my non-food items in, my CATS were not deducting correctly, thats when the horrible Cashier came over and began to berate me for using CATS. I DO plan to call the Meijer Store I shop at frequently, explain what occurred, & tell them I may just switch to their competitors due to their self-scanners not working properly (slow & malfunctioning), to their nazi cashier...telling me i can't use PROPERLY earned Catalina's. Even my very few coupons, she gazed at (these came off the COMBO's bags, $1.00 off/2 bags....I bought 6 bags, so I had 3 cpns). I am going to make my complaint known today !

Meijer is terrrriblleeee for customer service... I havent been there in 2-3 weeks and they've been the best weeks.I really do enjoy the awesome deals, but I dread going there everytime, their cashiers are poorly trained and their registers are beeping machines. In my experience with complaining, I would take it to the district manager, I had a much better repsonse with a district manager instead of a reg manager.

I have to make a run over there today after work to grab some of the butter and I'm not looking forward to it at all.

See, in my area Meijer has the WORST deals. We have Giant Eagle and Kroger and I find so many more things in their stores than I do at Meijer. I only go there maybe once every 6-8 weeks for one or two things.

To the pp that asked, I'm assuming the "butter" people are talking about is the Bestlife margarine.

Toss in 2 of the $1/produce wyb 2 Kraft dressing and it get better. Or $1/meat or poultry wyb 2 Kraft Dressing, A1, BBQ sauce, Grey Poupon. Free or money off on Produce/Meat is always good in my book Wink

If you still need to do some of the buy 10 Kellogg products get Kellogg $10 giftcard Calender rebates, you could do pretty good. Especially if the new Cinnabon or whatever it is cereal is included.
