Now just $2 per bag

Talked to HD worker yesterday about whether their mulch was on sale because they had about 50+ pallets of the stuff everywhere. Mentioned that it will be on Sale for Memorial Holiday weekend (he was not sure when the sale actually started). Scotts Earthgrow should be on sale for 5 for $10. Hopefully this will be nationwide unlike a lot of the other deals that seem specific to certain areas.

Updated Thursday 5/19 8:30 EST: I need to update this - the HD working gave me the wrong price - the price is actually 4/ $10 - wanted to update as soon as I saw our add.

I don't care what the reviews say, I have used it and had no issue with it other than the occasional large piece which I just trash or bury. Since you have so much experience with bagged mulch which have you used that is better or are you just basing your bias off reading reviews and not actually using the products?

I hope so, I was waiting on this sale to stock up for the new yard. Pine needles are the devil but builders LOVE them.

It's the best of the best in bagged mulch I have found. Wished the deal started today so I could use my $25 off $100 HD Coupon that expires today.

Not nationwide because it hasn't bumped out of the $3.33 per bag price all year in my locations.

Looks like they guarantee for 12 months - if truly crap color, get refunded for product and use this as the base layer of mulch. Everything I read says to have 2-3 inches of a base layer and then 1" of fresh stuff annually. Put this down for base, get refunded by Scott for crap product - buy "good" product with refunded $, should only need about a 3rd of what you originally purchased to refresh...

I have used this crap mulch and it is just colored big wooden waste, instead I loved the grounded mulch at Living Earth which is fine grounded , looks good and even safer to walk on with out shoes too.

It's a lot better than the previous $2 Premium Hardware Mulch deal that was +240 or so.
