Hello all. I was wondering if you could provide recommendations on this computer build? Could I do better for a similar price?

Thanks!

New Nvidia cards will be out in less than a month and from the reviews their performance is pretty crazy. I'd definitely recommend waiting and either buying one of the new cards or seeing how their release effects prices of the current cards.

What's your use scenario?
You have a K series processor and a Z170 motherboard, how much are you planning to overclock?

Did you do much research on that PSU? Rosewell is Newegg's house brand so not sure how the quality is here. That GPU you choose has a recommendation of 500W if you go for one of the new Nvidia cards (I would wait based on how good the performance looks, although they will be expensive and hard to get I would imagine) then you might need more power.

SSD- I typically recommend top tier manufactures. Samsung, Intel, Crucial. However the drive you choose looks to have good performance and great value. Know that it's software side of things is probably not great or non existent. What's the drives warranty? Do you need a Hard drive for media and further game storage? IF you want ultimate performance go for one of the new M.2 Samsung NVME 950 Pro drives. The difference is huge, it's waht I put in my new system. .

Agree. Even if you don't get the 1080 or 1070, the prices on lower cards should at least drop a bit. I'd wait it out, your timing is just a little off.
