Probably better to never upgrade because something is always coming out in a few months.
Man, this is a great price, I have this baby and it shreds everything you throw at it. One piece of advice, don't spend $310 on a superior chip and then buy a $50 micro atx mobo - invest in a nice z170 (I prefer MSI) but honestly Asus, Gigabyte, your choice. You can find them from time to time at around $120. Get the Coolermaster for $25 and you're gtg. Nice find OP.

Always tempted to upgrade but would feel like a total moron, since I already have an i5 6600k OC'd to 4.4Ghz

Just remember Intel releases new chips every year Kaby Lake i7 7700k will be releasing around August-September.

Check out the Passmark scores on the stock clocks

I don't think the 4.4ghz overclock on the i5 is going to quite get you up there.
