Uh... why would anyone buy acetaminophen esp. for kids when the safety margin for this particular drug is known to be very narrow?
Just get ibuprofen or naproxen for kids.

Just get ibuprofen or naproxen for kids.
Because if your child has a high fever, acetaminophen will bring it down to normal. Ibuprofen does not.

There are times when you have to alternate the two to keep a fever down or they are very sick.

Every drug has their pluses and minuses. Excessive ibuprofen use can lead to kidney failure and stomach problems. As long as you don't use it all the time and at the correct doses should be fine. Dollar tree has 4oz bottles of Acetaminophen (which is generic name for Tylenol) for $1.

Yes, Tylenol is also acetaminophen based. The box itself also says compared to "Children's TYLENOL Oral Suspension"
