this thing any good? have only recently heard about this company. Would the 4.5 amp craftsman be a better buy for $39 (was recently a SD at $35).

Great reviews at HD - 4.9 out of 5 stars, with a 100% recommendation rate.

I'm not sure. I guess it depends whether Lowe's considers "rollback" to be the same as "clearance."

I picked up one. Had some extra gift cards available so it was essentially free. Even if it works a couple times it pays for itself. TU

I picked this up during the last special from home depot and it's perfect for my use. I was surprised as to how nice it worked. It slow down a bit on some thicker branches but anything less than 1/2" it will just cut right through. I love it.

I don't understand walmart's "free pickup". If I choose to pick up in store, it still charges me shipping fees? I assume it has to travel from some other location to the Walmart close to me, but how is this "free pickup" then?

Edit: my bad, the final price at checkout did not include the transportation fee. I don't know how to delete my comment.

Thanks Repped! Was thinking of buying one of these. I was on the fence about it, but the deal helped me decide.

I was walking through my backyard this morning and said to myself "Man, those bushes are getting pretty bad. I should buy a new hedge trimmer." Seriously, your timing couldn't be more perfect. Product isn't sold in my area, so I had to settle for in store pickup with free shipping.

Thanks OP!

Thanks OP. Just ordered for pick-up. I planted near 40 fast growing hedges recently, and had a massive wall of hedges behind my house, that I was going to cut down by hand today. Glad I saw this.
