This looks like a good deal - 40% off / $500 on Amazon - YMMV depending on your taste.

Gonna guess that's 16-18 inches so in cm that's roughly 40-46cm

Absolute crap. Do not buy full suspension for riding on the street. This bike cannot handle trails anyway. I thought Suntour went out of business in 1994 but apparently WalMart'WalMart's PO's are big enough to keep them solvent or they got acquired. Buy a used original retail priced $800-$1000 bike on Craigslist. You'll be much better off. NOT a Slickdeal. You don't get quality or service here, just price. Stay away.

When I saw this posted, I assumed it must be new old stock since Iron Horse went out of business in 2009. Apparently it did, but the name was bought by the same company that ruined other great names in the industry; Schwinn, Mongoose, etc. $249 is likely what the MSRP should be for this bike, and then it is overpriced.

Based on the Iron Horse website, it's likely they have two lines of bikes like Schwinn; bikes sold at bike shops and bikes sold at big box stores. Just know what you are getting at this price.

I would recommend buying a hard tail bike at this price. Something like this from Diamondback, Raleigh, or another reputable brand.

Like everything else on SD, ymmv, depends on what you use it for, etc. Generally, the big box store bikes (Walmart, Target, Sears) only last a hundred miles or so before the hubs wear out or other issues appear. There is also the used market for bikes that could net you a nicer bike than the Diamondback above for less money including a tune up at a bike shop. You can find quality bikes at some sporting goods stores like Dick's, but you will want to wait for a sale.

EDIT: Like runner0382 said above, full suspension at this price will be garbage. I was trying not to go there and avoid point that out, but since it's out in the open I'll join. If you are using in an urban environment, light to medium trails, or just to commute get a hard tail mountain or comfort/hybrid and enjoy it. This will be a pain to ride with both the front and rear suspension flexing every time you pedal. It's basically all looks.

I bought an Iron Horse Warrior DS Pro in blue back in 2005. The full suspension downhill bike is a TANK & head-turner, for sure! I switched to road cycling and have put less than 50 street miles on it since. I'll put it up on Craig's List one of these days...

Not very clear what really happened, they closed their US offices and go by SR-Suntour now. One thing that is certain, they recently had a massive recall on some of their forks.

Not even close.

Aluminum frame
Disc brakes
Trigger shifters

It's hard to find those three features alone for $250.
