I think I'm going to get this just for comics and pick up a Hi12 for general use.

Keep in mind that the battery life is awful. Charging is slow. I use in primarily in windows and can use it while charging, but it only seems to maintain and not build. Also there is a bug in android where if the system goes into deep sleep, you have to hard reboot. CHUWI support is non-existent.

It's a capable tablet if you can work within the limitations.

I stand corrected. They released a firmware to deal with the android issue, but no instruction on how to flash firmware, so you need to be technical to figure it out. I managed it and android woks as it should now.

Still not happy about battery life and charging, but I haven't dug into it enough to see if that's something I can adjust.

The link above is to the new firmware. Use this link for flash instructions: https://androidmtk.com/flash-stoc...flash-tool

I purchased this tablet a few weeks ago and can confirm the new firmware fixes the sleep of death issue.

I would say that my experience has been mixed with this tablet. For the price it's OK and functions fine, both Android and Windows 10 work. The screen is actually pretty nice, but there is a bit of space between the LCD and digitizer and mine came with a little moisture in that space. This has left sort of a smudge mark on the inside of the glass, but it's not noticeable with the screen on. As said above, the battery life is poor and charging very slow.
