For $30 more you can get the version with the higher end tools and Lithium+ batteries. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-.../205915578

The upgraded version:
The circular saw has a laser guide and electric brake.
anti-vibration handle, slightly larger sawzall.
Someone else posted on SD in a previus deal about how the other tools were better. The lithium+ batteries are more expensive on their own.

I have been going back and forth between the two kits.

It's been $129 since last weekend I guess, saw it in-store last Sunday.
$30 for better battery and tool... Worth it if you ask me.
Or wait till Father's Day or J4 and grab 6pc set + Ryobi may run same promo for buy one kit, get one item 50% off and could be 4Ah battery on sale... So IMO save your money for a next month or two, there is a chance you'll get better deal. Embarrassment

I bought the nicer lithium+ set and definitely don't regret it. I have a set of yard tools that only use the lithium batteries... I find a HUGE difference between the two types of batteries and find myself only using the lithium batteries when both lithium+ batteries are dead.

To me, it's worth it for the batteries alone.

Wouldn't say 'bout tool, but battery is a next gen, as far as I know they will hold charge for a longer period of time.

There is no 20% off Home Depot coupon. Longdingdong is a frequently banned troll who just likes to stir up trouble.

These better batteries dont fail after a full discharge state? I had 2 batteries go bad after one use...fully discharged. They were from the ryobi impact driver dealls month or so ago. I got rid of all that stuff.I like the tools but that battery thing sucks. Its all over the web . Some people claim ways to recover. I wasted my time trying with no success.

What is the model number for the battery in the better kit?

Concerned about the quality myself.
