Alternative is (if you don't need 2nd zone), Yamaha A550, brand new, from local store $250.

Comparison

Also, Costco has this unit for $380 (and time to time with $50 rebate, down to $330, and also some members mentioned seeing it for $300 on clearance in Costco)
This is costco exclusive TSR-5790BL which is rebranded RX-V579.

Not a bad deal but the Refurb Rx-V775 at Frys for $248 is a slightly better deal. http://faq.yamaha.com/us/en/artic...10834/8701

I have 2 questions in general.
1. Can you have an output from 2 different inputs. For example, i want to sing karaoke 1 input from mic and the other input is from hdmi for the background music. How do you remedy this?
2. For this receiver, are there 2

You mean you have "Walmart CREDIT" or Credit Card?
If you need a basic receiver for sound, you can look at Sony DH550 which goes on sale for $175 time to time. Currently $198

Still, maybe you should your WM$$$ for something else, because there aren't a lot of good deals on receivers at WM. For example, http://www.walmart.com/ip/Yamaha-.../190989162 this is right now $250 at Best Buy.

This one is what OP posted, except new:

The store credit card, from Synchrony bank:https://www2.onlinecreditcenter6....pe=generic. Was looking to spend up to $200-$300s, though anything cheaper for something of quality would be great. Like if it could not have mechanical or other issues related to audio sync problems or things of that nature that would be fantastic. My set up is a Tivo to Hauppauge HD PVR 60 to my HP ENVY 17T so I can watch live in 1080p60 but also record. Am hoping to sell my Roamio to get a Bolt but figure running through a 4K receiver will up the 1080p60 quality as well. Am assuming if one of the good quality 4k receivers go on sale Walmart might price match? My research lead me to either the Onkyo TX-NR3030 or the Integra DTR-70.6 or even more so the soon to come 70.7 as the best but I figure theyd both be around $1000, too much for now. $175 would be great. Out of these ones which you think is best for the set up I have and the cost?

I have been looking at only Sony DN1060 and all Yamahas and ended up getting the Yamaha Aventage 550 from Best Buy. Sorry I can't help with other brands, but maybe you can check out AVSforums for suggestions, but I wouldn't force or limit myself to Walmart when it comes down to receivers. Their selection is limited.

Will check that forum out, but why those two over Onkyo and Integra? Figure Ill get a better one later but need something inexpensive for now. Was also looking a bit at Yamaha. How do you like the Aventage 550? Anything you dont like about it?

Just a preference, and I heard more positive things about Yamahas than any other brands, and to be honest did not even consider Integra at all. If you need budget unit, you can hunt for Yamaha RX-V379 which should be around $200 but with the add't features of Yamaha Aventage 550 for just $50 more, I'd get that.

I didn't pick up mine yet, it's reserved at the store, will try to go and get it tomorrow.

Alternatively, sorry you missed it but NewEgg had Pioneer for $100 after $20 rebate, great for sound, not much else.

If you are not in a hurry, set a Deal Alert for Receiver and another for Pioneer and Yamaha and, etc.. etc.. brands and see what you can catch.

Good luck.

Yea saw good feedback for Yamaha as well. Cool, So this one:http://www.walmart.com/ip/Yamaha-.../190989162.

Would like to hear what you thought of it after you got it and could test it out if you get a chance to post back on it.

So not so great for 4K upscaling? Thats what I really need it for. The Comcast X1 which I also have upscales really well where as the Tivos dont for some weird reason even though theyre build on top of X1 tech from what I understand.

Not necessarily in a hurry, so yea will set those alerts, great idea thank you.
