It's been this price for a few days which I thought was now normal price, not so slick, but I see a frontpage deal for equal specs at a higher price so maybe it is worth sharing after all.

The LG 27" IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor model number 27UD68 is on sale at Best Buy for $400 with free shipping.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-27...Id=4922001

It has HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort digital inputs, and the specs also claim D-Sub analog (VGA) although I can't see that in the photos. 60Hz at full resolution, broad color gamut.

Compared to the very popular Dell, this has no USB hub and also no thick ugly bezel.

Don't forget this monitor supports HDCP 2.2, that a lot of the older ones don't.

So dumb question, but if I only have hdmi output on my video card, how would I connect this, or do I need a new card?

Your video card's HDMI output will need to support HDMI 2.0 spec. If it's 1.4, you could technically display 4k, but it will be limited to 30Hz refresh rate. The monitor here is HDMI 2.0 capable.

and peeps still complaint about where to find a video card that can do more than 60fps while many 4k monitors are still at 60hz.

having used a 28" 4K monitor, biggest downside to me was the scaling in windows. Super small ass text at 100% DPI or if you scaled up to 200% most UI elements looked better but those that don't scale looked bad and games often don't work with scaling and act weird, sorry to be kind of broad, but there are scaling issues basically. Went back to 1440p with higher refresh rate and super happy at this point.

I've read conflicting accounts. Maybe it's because there is a model with the same model number with a "P" added at the end. Can someone with this exact model confirm or deny 2 HDMI inputs?
