The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 Sport II features a 16" 1-9" twist chrome lined barrel. It has a 6-Position collapsible stock. The front sight is an adjustable A2 post sight and collapsible MBUS rear sight. It features a 30+1 capacity, dust cover, and forward
assist.

I picked up mine already from the post last week. 4 days total from order to FFL. Smooth transaction with Whittaker Guns.

Thanks for the rep points in advance.

Honestly, this is FP-worthy by a mile. Cabellas, Academy, etc sell it at $699.

Ordered last Thursday and just got the UPS shipping notification. They were swamped with the orders from last week and are now just getting caught up.

Was this actually in stock when it was posted? Or just to talk about the deal from last week?

I ordered one in the last hour, so yes, it's live. I just checked and it's still live.

What's a good price per round (bulk) for .223 and 5.56?

Ok prices for good brass ammo is about 30c, and for steel case about 25c. if you can get some good brass under 25c that would be a great deal. Sometimes you can find steel case for under 20c

What about cheap (not lead nose) ammo? The zombies don't care what the casing is made of Smilie.

You can sometimes get cheap non-brass cased ammo for $0.20/round. Tula and Wolf come to mind. Don't confuse the cheap Wolf with their Wolf Gold which is very nice, brass cased, reloadable, and made in Taiwan.

You mean "assault" weapon? Yes, you can assault hogs and most other mid-sized game with it. For Republicans, it's called a "rifle". For liberal whackjobs, it's called an "assault rifle".

The difference between the two is appearance and magazine capacity. Put the same barrel on a 5-shot bolt-action rifle and no one has any complaints (it has to be a brown stock, black stocks make it all "military, of course). None of that impacts how quickly the actual projectile travels, nor the impact that it makes.
