Amazon has the cheapest price ever on the full metal Samsung USB 3.0 flash drives. I've kept one of these on my keys for the past year and they are super durable unlike the plastic ones

Very true but as a computer tech I've got one of these on me at all timmes with my system tools. its perfect since it has kept up being sat on and thrown around constantly for almost a year already.

I've made it a boot flash drive which i can pick over 20 different iso's while i'm onsite. Or when i'm already in windows or linux it has even more tool sets. Its really perfect for the IT world
I don't need this.. but why do I feel the need to buy this? Big Grin

This is an incredibly solid drive - heavy, feels like one chunk of metal - with fast transfer speeds in either direction.

Also, prices are currently matched with a discount code (present on each item's page) at Newegg, with somewhat greater chance of having no tax charged:

128GB Bar USB drive [newegg.com]
64GB Bar USB drive [newegg.com]
32GB Bar USB drive [newegg.com]
16GB Bar USB drive [newegg.com]

The discount codes are present on other drive formats too, e.g. the Fit (tiny nub, barely bigger than a USB port) and the OTG (dual-interface, micro-USB2 and full USB3, for capable Android devices). Just click on the "Bar," "Fit," or "OTG" choices in the Series: area. All of these that I checked come out to exactly the same as Amazon's prices, but again, with a little bit less chance of getting charged sales tax.

(And hey, how about giving the "64GB for a dollar" thing a rest, OK? It was a price mistake! And quite a few people didn't get theirs...)

this is an all time low on the 64GB variant- never seen it below $20. this drive has held up well getting beat up hanging on my keychain for several months. works well.
