...and thus the word "Tactical" was finally, after having the last of it's meaning drained from it, consigned to a well deserved shallow grave.
I bought two sets for ~$45/kit about four months ago and have been running these overclocked with zero issues.

For those of you planning to Overclock:
Currently, I have 32GB dialed in @ 2133MHz 10-9-10-24 1T @1.525v; running cool and stable since the day I obtained the second kit.
Depending on how well your processor's Memory Controller is up to the task, you can get away with tightening the timing a little. You can push these into 2200MHz territory, although I would advise leaving them set at 2133 and focus on tightening CAS, since the looser timing will have a greater negative impact on performance with the higher memory clock(at this level).

With a single kit(2x8GB), the best I could get without boosting the voltage past 1.52v was 9-9-9-24-1T.. Both kits(despite them coming from different sources and manufacturing dates) clocked identically in my system. That said, I suspect my results are highly common/repeatable to others with capable hardware.

All considered, even at factory settings, this RAM is about as good as it gets for DDR3; highly recommend!

Get the feeling they are running out DDR3 stocks as more people make the move to to D4 with newer motherboards.

Nice to see memory prices low- paid 119 for my last lot of 16GB memory. (basic, but branded)

ddr3 will be out and easily obtainable at least 3 more years. lots of things still use it but most is low volt (1.35) or so-dimm.
