Looks like there has been a marketplace vendor hovering around $7.50-8 since late July of last year...

Deal is not likely to evaporate.

I would buy some, but I have a harbor freight nearby...

really high price, are these somehow better quality than other brands? Those twist ones are usually cheaper than the trigger style that you squeeze.

These are better than squeeze quick clamps. More clamping pressure and will last much longer.

From my limited experience of cabinet working for two years, yes.
They hold much better than the squeeze handle type.

This is as actually one of the things you can get from HF that isn't complete garbage. I was surprised how closely the quality matched Bessey clamps.

Yes, there are some 3rd party vendors that have had this at a similar price for some time, but check their shipping rates. The cost jumps dramatically once you factor that in. If you've got Amazon Prime, the $7.51 Amazon deal is fantastic. Lowest price ever according to CamelCamelCamel. Previous low was a little over $9.

Thanks OP.

Unless you are really set on the Bessey brand, you can find the exact equivalent of these for $4.99 if you live near a Menards [menards.com]. I have the Menards ones and they work fine for carpentry gluing, etc.

I guess this could be a good deal for people who might live in the middle of nowhere, or who are finicky about the brand of their tools.

agreed as well. I own more than 10 of these in various lengths from HF. the 24'' is $5, or $4 after the usual 20% coupon + the typical free item (screw driver set, tape measure, scissors, led flashlight...). So a lukewarm deal unless your branded with your wood clamps or don't have an HF nearby. Squeeze clamps have a higher tendency to break overtime/can't clamp has hard but for the occasional hobbyist I can get why they seem easier to use initially...
