It seems only $2.91 is saved... not a great deal really. I'm surprised the last post hit 155+.

It was a sponsored "deal" and so is this. Surprised it's not FP already.

The step stool has a 225 lb. load capacity, however I weigh 240 and am planning to bulk up to around 300 lb. Would you think this should support my weight or should I purchase two, one for each foot?

Do not buy this, no matter what the price is. This thing is heavy. The only material your ladder should be made out of is aluminum. Aluminum is very light and extremely easy to lift and carry around. I could lift a 6 foot aluminum ladder with my pinky. Unless you are extremely huge and weight like 400 pounds then maybe you should buy a fiber glass ladder. I am a construction worker and use ladders every single day and one of the most important things for me is using a light ladder. If a ladder says it has a 225 capacity that means it would take 900 to break it. Factor of 4 Ansi rules.

Agreed, while this ladder is very useful and well-built, it is really heavy for what it is. Buyers be aware

Likely because SD is being paid to make it FP

I have the aluminum version of this ladder and can definitely say the additional cost is well worth it: carrying it throughout the house is extremely easy and the ladder is sturdy and durable.

This one is heavy, but for $13 might be a good garage ladder or something.

Walmart has a Cosco Steel Step Stool for $11.88 (check the Walmart App for your local store / Brickseek 17209082 )... and it has 209 reviews putting it like 4.5 out of 5.0! Same 225lbs. How is this a deal at 10% more than Walmart?
