Thanks! TU! I missed the nike metcon deal last time since i wasnt sure what size to pick. I went to sport's authority and tried them on, and set up alert for next deal. $55 + tax and shipping is half price of what they normally go for.

For people who want to get those, they seem to run about half size small then normal. I normally wear 9.5 in nikes (free, free run), i had to get 10 for metcon 2's

Thanks, I ordered a couple of pair... but I was very hesitant. I have always found Nike's comfortable but I have also always found them to not hold up well.

About 10 years ago I purchased a pair of Nike Shox (their top of the line running shoe at the time), a pair of New Balance and a pair of Saucony all at the same time from some big clearance. The Nike Shox were the most comfortable and had the best cushioning but after a year they were falling apart at the seams (glue coming undone and not really any stitching to reinforce the glue). They ended up in the trash after only a year. I still have the New Balance and Saucony which I still wear for cutting the lawn, gardening or working in the shop. Both the New Balance and Saucony have been through the wash multiple times (Put a cup of Pine-sol in the wash with your shoes to kill off the germs and fungus then let them air dry after removing the inner sole) and still holding up well. The seams are tight and the materials haven't worn through.

Even though I am from Oregon and like local products Nike seems to be more about looks than durability. I hope they have improved in the last 10 years!

If only you guys have the slickdeal promo code valid, this would be slick.
Prices are normal + shipping + tax aren't really hot for me, hopefully you guys have the promo code back soon though!

$55 for metcon2's isn't "normal". that's actually pretty hot (except the color is eh)

I have the Prime Hype DF shoes and that's a great price for them. I treat them as my outside shoes since I don't like to f up my $200 Lebrons. For the df shoes you're not getting a ton of cushioning and I don't feel like my ankles are AS secure compared to my better shoes, but I would still buy them again.

Used the 10% Discover cashback, so it should be 20%. Nice deal for some $40 shoes. Sadly I got Nikes again. I've had problems lately, but I'm not sure how long they should really last.

Seriously, how much money is SD getting from this vendor? There must be dozens of these paid advertisements in last couple of days. Does this type of scam really work?

Was hoping that the Nike Frees would be a little cheaper, but they're still pretty pricey.

I completely agree. Most of the fp deals are garbage advertising these days.
