Straight talk now has a loyalty rewards program. It's free to join.

It's not so much rewarding but eventually, in ~3 years, you will get a free 1 month plan.

Not that good but it's still free :-)

you can redeem 1000 points for a $10 global call card. You will get there in about 7 months if you are using $45 unlimited plan. The balance rolls over on the $10 global call card which works for me.

Yeah, that's going to take a while to accumulate a free month. Oh well, might as well sign up and see what happens.

I would have gotten a free month of service last month if they had this program when I first signed up 3 years ago.

Ahhh, good ol' straight talk. Sitting on 10 30-day refill cards from 16 total bought (through their website). last two I tried to redeem were deemed invalid and had to waste around 1.5 hours total on the phone with the "support" to get credit. Guessing I'll continue to have problems as I redeem off my stack. Summary: screw straight talk. I plan on looking for other service in 10 months when I'm out of refills. It's OK when it works and you can get discounted refills, but if you have problems (and you will eventually) it is a massive headache.

You will get points when you sign up (200 pts), refill (100 pts for $45 plan), auto refill (double the refill points), complete 6 months (100 pts), complete 1 full year (150 pts). You can redeem the rewards for any straight talk refills. For ex: 1000 points can get you a $10 global calling card which you can add it to any monthly plan. You can check the international calling rates, they are pretty cheap. The balance on this $10 card never expires. The OP has images attached which will explain how to earn/redeem points.

Yeah, their customer service is a nightmare. I've been redeeming those discount cards for about the last 18 months or so and haven't run into a problem, yet. Still about 20 left. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I don't run into any issues.

On Straight Talk-Verizon or AT&T or T-Mobile? I'm on Straight Talk AT&T, but am considering getting my parents on the Straight Talk Verizon.

They are on Verizon know and i think they pay a heck of a lot for it.

BTW to everyone else, I made this table for myself, figured I'd share it.

Month 41 is the first free month assuming there are no "surprise" points.

I bought 3 years worth of half price $45 cards a while back and ran into the same kind of garbage with their CS people. Just absolutely terrible, they hire offshore morons who know nothing and don't help. In my case, they shorted me 2/3 of the cards I had paid for, and it took 60 calls and dozens of emails for them to finally give me the cards and codes and sims I paid for. Since then, no big issues beyond the large limitations of their system lIke no selective forwarding and crappy to no compatibility with Google Voice. This rewards thing is puny but who cares, really? At 22 and change net cost per month for decent service and 5gb data, i'm ok with it. Just ok, though.
