That covers a select group of drugs with anticholinergic effects. I know Zyrtec is not one of them. Don't post info like that with such vague data, it just over panics those who don't care to research.

A few example drugs WITH anticholinergic's for anyone interested are:
Trihexyphenidyl (Artane)
Benztropine mesylate (Cogentin)
Biperiden
Procyclidine
2,5 antihistamines (orphenadrine)
Atropine
Flavoxate (Urispas)
Oxybutynin (Ditropan, Oxytrol)
Scopolamine
Hyoscyamine (Levsinex)
Tolterodine (Detrol)
Belladonna alkaloids
Fesoterodine (Toviaz)
Solifenacin (VESIcare)
Darifenacin (Enablex)
Propantheline (Pro-Banthine) (UCSF)
Another drug with anticholinergic effects is Diphenhydramine (Benadryl), a common allergy medication, although that's not part of this deal. These are drugs with "ACB Score of 3" (Evidence from literature, expert opinion, or prescribers information that medication may cause delirium).

Two of the items mentioned by the OP, Loratadine (Claritin) and Cetirizine (Zyrtec), are in the list of drugs "with ACB Score of 1" (Evidence from in vitro data that chemical entity has antagonist activity at muscarinic receptor).

The complete list can be found here:

I'd suggest the Fexofenadine or the Loratadine if you haven't used these before. The Cetirizine has a much higher likelihood of causing drowsiness than those do. That said, if you're already on it and it's working well for you, keep at it. Most people won't have an issue.

Mine had a 10/17 date. I think they have to be good for at least a year from the day you bought them.

I can't believe how cheap Costco generics are. If you were to get Claritin you would pay an arm an a leg.
