Go to camelcamelcamel .com and get the browser plugin, then when you are on the product page click the icon and it will usually show the price history. This mat is usually around $20 and up and has been on a slow decline. $14.99 isn't bad.

Thanks! I was just about to buy one of the giant mousepads for around $20. I'll give it a shot as a mousepad and if I don't like it I'll just use it for its intended purpose.

FYI I also see the AK-47 print for $14.61:

According to camel that one has been down to $11, but that was last fall.

Good deal but, for what it's worth, IMHO, Black is a TERRIBLE color for a cleaning mat. Reason? 99% of firearm parts are black and the tiny pieces especially will hide on a black background.

Personally, I will buy a cheap high contrast color yoga mat and use it for my bench.

Also, I use one as a shooting mat. They're typically waterproof and can be hosed down if you lay down in the gunk.

Although this AR one is much larger, I received the glock one as a gift, and I love using it as an over-sized mousepad.

I was going to say something similar. However, in my area (around Los Angeles) I need to drive about 40 minutes to the gun show (Orange county), pay for parking (probably ~$6), and then pay to get into the gun show (~$16).

For me, I go once a year or every two years and load up on (a year or two year's worth of) ammo, and the cost of admission is well worth it. I also see it as a few hours of entertainment.

If you're going to the gun show to buy a giant mouse pad, or if a gun show is not your version of "entertainment," it's probably better to just buy it from Amazon.

I bought my giant AR15 mouse pad from a gun show, and I think that I paid $15. Blush
