Really nice for a Windows phone!!! The unlockable Gophone 640 can still be found for under $30.00 if you're willing to do some searching.

BB still has the Lumia 640 GoPhone for $29.99. You can get it unlocked for free if you don't put in the gophone sim. I put my cricket sim in and it worked fine.

youd have to get an unlock code.

cricket phones can be used on att since they have the exact same bands and cricket runs on att's network. but cricket phones need to be unlocked which is about 6 months of service on cricket.

Just went to a Wally down the road looking for that Hisense TV and ended up scoring a 640 for $15.00.

Windows OS is far more efficient than Android. Using LG G3 now but would be all over this if I didn't need an Android for my apps.

$5.99 and up from what I've seen lately. The few stores that still have them don't seem to be marking them down anymore.

I don't know what your area's stock looks like, but mine shows none available within 250 miles. Same with walmart, no shipping available and none within pickup distance. A couple weeks ago best buy put 218 units up on ebay, and I'm starting to think that was their final clearance, based on their lack of restocking the website and stores. I bought one from their ebay store on the 11th, and they haven't shipped it yet. Still have to wait 2 days to file a non-receipt complaint.

I see the 650 is Cricket's website for $120. Hopefully we'll see a GoPhone version of that to bring down the price. I could see myself paying around $50 for one someday, even though it's not much more than a more-premium-feeling 640.

Windows phones seem like they would be better than Android as far as optimization goes but the apps are all over the place and the home screen just looks way too clogged up. Couldn't get used to it after using it for a couple days and decided to go back to Android where the layout was way easier to follow and they had a bunch more apps.

Microsoft really needs to work on creating a platform that isn't hard to use for people switching from Android if they really want a bigger user base. I guess they would work okay as a standalone GPS unit but even that's built right into my phone. Maybe I could use one as a security camera around the house.

Unlockable? Nope. I have bought 4-5 new from BB and WM and a few from At&t that were refurbs and At&t unlocked everyone of them in 48 hours. It's a heck of a phone if one not a app whore. Highlights: call quality, battery life, screen are all excellent. I've compared images from the 640 vs my iPhone 5S and the Lumia shows better detail when viewed at 100%. Video with the 640 is just superb.

Hasn't this been $29.99 for ages? Even cheaper in some cases.
