That's a decent price on these - but vendor does not seem to be authorized dealer on B&W "authorized dealer" list. No B&W 2 year warranty? I called the company and there's an outgoing message that say "we've reached our maximum customer call volume please call back another time." On a Saturday? When I finally did speak to a CSR he said they might be a "soft authorized" BW dealer, not formally listed on the BW site. He also said their headphones "specialist" didn't work on weekends and couldn't verify warranty. When I pointed out again the product page says 2 years manufacturers warranty under "features" tab, but they're not on the authorized dealer list, the CSR repeated the "headphones" specialist wasn't available. Seems very sketchy.

B&W group was just sold to an 'enthusiast' that is known for raising money and then selling off or leaving companies (probably some layoffs involved in the process also). Regardless of his promise I'm sure there are big changes, especially since B&W went big box a few years ago. Pissed off a lot of boutique and specialty shoppes/installers.

I used to be a B&W fan for their speakers, well, only on their CDM/ 700/ 800 series lines, and I've owned the P3, P5 for extended period. I'm afraid I'm gonna say that, to me, the sound of their P3 and P5 were not as good as many competitors in the same price range. I liked certain part of the P5, but P3 was a great disappointment to me seeing it as a B&W product, just like their 600 series speakers.

From the B&W web page:

"Only genuine Bowers & Wilkins products can deliver the true sound of your music. To ensure you get the true sound of
Bowers & Wilkins, please purchase from one our authorized online retailers.

Apple
Amazon
ABT
Crutchfield
Worldwide Stereo
ListenUp
Sound Ear Phones
Magnolia
Gramophone"

Sonicelectronix B&W P3 and other product descriptions say Sonic is B&W "authorized Internet dealer" and it also says there is a 2 year manufacturers warranty. So per the post above response I contacted B&W customer support to make sure. B&W says: 1) Sonic is not an authorized Internet dealer and 2) B&W will NOT honor or provide ANY manufacturers warranty on any B&W product purchased from Sonic or any other unauthorized Internet dealer. Since it seems Sonic posted this deal and is monitoring this thread I'd suggest your company stop misleading people.
