In for one. probably won't ever use most of these features, but for the price why not.

I'm wondering how this stacks up against the Gigabyte G7. The features seem near identical but with different ethernet and onboard audio. I might bite on this Fatal1ty board because its so much cheaper.

I got it a while ago and it was as follows:
Subtotal $169.99
Tax $13.50
Super Eggsaver (4-7 bus. days) $0.00
Promo code - $20.00
Order Total $163.49

Keep in mind I am in California, so the tax may be higher or lower where you are. Also, I haven't gotten my rebate yet. Just gotta send the form Smilie

I have an asrock board from 2014 that is still going strong and has been very good to me. picked up another a few months back and like it as well so I would say asrock has been very very good to me for my modest needs.

I have had Z68 and now a X99 Asrock board. Both have been rock solid in both build quality and features.

I have the ITX of this and it is ridiculously good. The BIOS is almost it's own OS...it can upgrade itself...network connection and all.

I just wish we could see the ITX version drop to like $120...

Just bought this after much research. Never owned ASRock before but willing to give it a try. This is virtually the same board as the Z170 Extreme7+ which is a $200 board so I'm expecting a quality board.

I also bought 16 GB of GSkill Ripjaws F4-2400C15D-16GVR (on the compatibility list) for only $50 at Newegg. It's not the fastest RAM (DDR2400) but it will do.

I'm going to pair it with an i3-6100 which is $107 at jet.com using the 15% off coupon and waiving free return. Newegg is selling it for a reasonable $115 after promo code EMCEJGE25, but I had jet cash back credit so I went with jet even though shipping will probably be slow.

I really wanted the i7-6700K, but not for $310. I'll keep my eye on prices or perhaps wait until Kaby Lake to upgrade to a better long term processor.

ASRock removed the ability to overclock non-K processors using BCLK, but their web page implies this board now has an external clock device. Not sure if that's true or not. Otherwise I'm going to try to get hold of an older BIOS that allows overclocking. Not the end of the world if the overclocking doesn't pan out as 3.7GHz dual core with hyperthreading is good enough for now.

Make sure to overclock that ram with a XMP profile to get higher speeds . Easy as shit. Apply in the bios
