After searching for a good price, the best I could find was 49.99 (clearance) at Walmart. Chances are all stores OOS EVERYWHERE, but the clearance price was still 49.99. Online the best I could find was.74.99 refurbished on the AT&T site with a prepaid service package. The highest price I saw was 139.99 at Sears. So before someone else gets the glory for this deal, I decided to post it.
THE HOW TO:
I went to BEST BUY, and physically brought a sealed ZMAX2 phone up to the register. Then called up Walmart while at the register on speaker phone. Read the sku to the electronics department at Walmart. The man on the phone checked the Walmart inventory and said it was OOS, BUT still priced 50$. BEST BUY price matched instantly and gave it to me for basically 50% off. Im sure you could call an outside of state Best Buy if you needed too. But the phone seems to be 49.99 across the US. Someone also commented as the phone being $49.99 on the WALMART APP (not near me though. came up as 79.99) to help price match easier..
Check Brickseeker and WALMART APP and just grab it from WALMART if it is still in stock near you at the clearance price of 49.99. If not Best buy had a ton of these phones on the rack because they were still marked as $100. I had no trouble getting a price match.

I bought this phone for my baby mamma so she would have a reliable phone for my son in case of emergency. It is a very solid phone. The camera is nothing special though. It also takes up to 32 GB micro sd card, so space isn't an issue. I might go buy another as a backup phone tomorrow. They had lots to spare in the Store.

Zmax 2 now can be rooted with Kingo PC. Kingo's SuperUser app doen't handle the root permission correctly. You can either uninstall the Kingo's SuperUser app to get root, or you need to go to Kingo's SuperUser app to Deny and Allow a few times in order to get it working. Note: Temp root only.
