You can go through xfinity and get $200 visa card rebate. I think that is a better deal than getting a free 720p tv that is probably worth about 150-200 max.

this promotion doesn't require you to have or sign up for xfinity and wait 3 months for a rebate

There is no need to sign up for or xfinity or to be an existing customer. You order through their portal xfinity.com/verizon and you will get a $200 card mailed to you. Search for a thread with the details.

So how much does it cost? $30 plan + $20 per phone = $50 per month * 6 months = $300 for 6 months of service.

Do you have to multiply that for the second device? $300 * 2 = $600 for 6 months of service.

Way too expensive. RingPlus is cheaper.

Are service plans even worth it?

So do the 2 phones share the same plan? That's why there is only one $30?

Credit check and device payments just to get a pretty mediocre TV. Go prepaid and you'll pay 50-60% less for service, less for a phone, and have extra cash for a better TV or even something useful. shake head

Does this mean since one line would be an upgrade and one line is new , using the BOGO, would you get 2 tvs or just 1? Technically you are buying 2 phones and getting a rebate when purchased through installments..
