I have this vacuum, its not very good. The fabric filter inside gets clogged very easily and prone to tearing. It also doesn't have much suction power.

Neighbor bought it a couple of years ago, and has said it works really well on hard floors and surfaces. So at the $18-$20 it has sold for for a few years, probably a good value if purchased with realistic expectations.

bought it yesterday as my Electrolux cordless decided to go bad, this one isn't a bad stick vac, good suction IMO, nice 16ft cord is helpful... not very useful on carpet unless you were cleaning up crumbs or something though. I'm satisfied with it for that price.

Honestly don't bother with this on carpet at all. I thought this would be good for my little apartment, but on a whim I decided to upgrade to a Bissell Powerforce compact.. It was between $40 and $50 at walmart I think.

I vacuumed the floor with the stick vacuum first, then with the Powerforce. The Powerforce picked up nearly two full cannisters of dust just from the living room and bedroom. I couldn't believe it. And I thought my floors were clean!

So if you're buying this I'd just use it on hard flooring.

I love those microfiber. It's job is to grab and it really grab on to those dust for dear life. Wink

I got one of these and I don't think it's very useful. I think doesn't have enough power and barely sucks. Since it's only good on bare floors a broom works 10x better. It also seems to blow dust away as much as it sucks so it moves the crumbs etc around. I have had it about a year and it's pretty useless. Doesn't work well for rugs or carpet so I can't see its purpose.

Perhaps, but for hard floors a broom and dust pan work just fine too and won't scratch the surface.

May be wrong.. but I'm pretty sure this is the normal price. We picked one up a few months ago for $19.
