For anyone else that picked up one of the recent X-T1 deals, you may be interested in knowing that many of the Fuji X-mount lenses are on sale right now. They appear to be on sale everywhere, though, so if you prefer Amazon or some other retailer you can probably find them there as well, e.g., on Amazon:

Examples of discounts (on XF lenses, I haven't really followed the XC lens prices much):

14mm f2.8 - $899 => $499 (44% discount)
16mm f1.4 - $999 => $699 (30% discount)
18mm f2 - $599 => $449 (27% discount)
23mm f1.4 - $899 => $699 (22% discount)
27mm f2.8 - $449 => $299 (33% discount)
35mm f1.4 - $599 => $449 (25% discount)
35mm f2 - $399 => $299 (25% discount)
56mm f1.2 - $999 => $799 (20% discount)
60mm f2.4 - $649 => $449 (23% discount)
90mm f2 - $949 => $749 (21% discount)

10-24mm f4 - $999 => $799 (20% discount)
16-55mm f2.8 - $1199 => $999 (17% discount)
18-135mm f3.5-5.6 - $899 => $699 (22% discount)
50-140mm f2.8 - $1599 => $1399 (12.5% discount)
55-200mm f3.5-4.8 - $699 => $499 (29% discount)

Some of these are comparable to what you can get grey market or used normally. If you're interested in saving a little more the used prices have necessarily been pushed down in some cases (e.g., a like new 16mm for $599 compared to one listed last week at something like $760).

Also if you bought a lens recently with a card that offers price protection (Chase Sapphire Preferred), you can file a claim to get a refund for the price difference. I just did this for a 35mm f2 I bought new last month. File online at https://www.eclaimsline.com/
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Good deals on fuji lenses, I'd like to see some deals like these for micro four thirds lenses

I wanted to post but I wouldn't have done as good of a job as you did. I picked up the 16mm f1.4 after tons of advice from people in love with it. The 35mm f2 is the best lens on the Planet for $299. Hoping to get that as well, but that's a want, not a need. Great post for some amazing deals!

I am seriously considering. The Sony 16-35 FE lens is so big, I just want something smaller. The Fuji is not significantly smaller but does offer some smaller lens for traveling. I would probably give up on dynamic range and low light performance. I probably won't do it but I have been reading on Dpreview.

you really can't go wrong with either but the Sony has the video advantage of course. personally I prefer the Fuji JPEG color sensor.

Both? Or get the 10-24mm for $799. Seems like a good compromise for 14, 16, 18 and 23mm.

The 14mm is one of the only average Fuji lenses, with the 60mm macro and the 18mm prime.

By contrast, the 16mm is arguably one of their best primes. Focuses really, really close. Opens up nice and fast, autofocus extremely well and isn't too big or heavy.

Yeah I have had the 14mm for 2 years (got it from Canada when the Canadian was in the shitter) I am getting the 16mm most likely.

I am not sure if I can part the 14mm. It's such a light, compact and high quality lens. It's a whole class smaller than the Tokina 11-16mm but sharper.

And manual focus scale too.

The best deal in this sale is the 35mm/2 because it's the first time you can get it in a sale.

What do you mean average. It reviews better than the Zeiss 12mm

I went with the 16mm. It's by far a better lens, some even call it Fuji's best XF lens. It's two stops faster, weather resistant, optically better, and only $200 more. The only downside is it's a bigger heavier lens, you lose like 7 degrees of view, but that's pretty much it. Without knowing what camera you have or what you shoot, the 16 is just a superior lens and I'd recommend it 9/10 over the 14. The one time I wouldn't recommend the 16 over the 14 would be if you don't have a WR body (X-Pro2, X-T1) and don't ever plan on getting one, you don't care about dof and shoot landscapes exclusively. They're both fantastic lenses and you'll be happy regardless which you choose.

The Samyang/Rokinon 12mm f2 is better than both and half the price. Both the Fuji and the Zeiss are therefore average performers.
