UNLOCKED Phones explained in brief:

An unlocked phone (some are limited unlocks) allows for a phone to be used on any service provider. The service provider has the option to not allow that phone type on their network. The phone hardware needs to be able to support connecting to the service providers network. Many phones have limited hardware and will not be fully compatible with all service providers.

So, with this phone example above you might be able to register your phone with ATT and use the phone on their network, but it will be limited since the phone HARDWARE/software does not support all the ATT network has to offer.

I think they all unlocked, but you wont be able to use 4g lte like att or tmobile phone unless you are going to root it or something, i am not 100% sure though. i have the v LG G4 for tmobile, the 4g lte keep dropping all the time.Mad

In my box it says 90 days. Not sure if you can get a square trade or not.

Sounds like you need to edit your APN settings. Just google ATT LTE APN settings. You should be getting solid LTE with a T-Mobile g4 on att
