I was looking for other deal with Seagate hard drive but didn't find it.
I found this deal though.
Seagate Personal cloud 3tb (dpci 056-02-0128)
model num. STCR3000101
reg price 139.99
marked down in store to 97.98
On Target app price shows up as 69.98.

First Target I went to they didn't want to price match because they said they don't price match clearance items.
Second Target I went to I did not mention anything about clearance and just ask if they could price match to Target app. He scanned with iPad and it showed 97.98. I then showed him my app. He had to go get supervisor and superior just came and typed in his code no questions asked.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Target app shows me 139.99. Where are you seeing 69.98?

I don't quite understand the concept of all these target app scan things... I tried to scan myself for one item with $26xx, the price changed to $86.xx for same item when the customer service scan on their end...what a joke

Somethings wrong with brickseek, I looked up 2 items that was showing 70% on brickssek but when I scan the price at Target, its still only 50% off.

Unless you need or want the cloud portion, 3TB for $70 ($23.33/TB) is towards the more normal/expensive pricing side these days (~$25.00/TB). Then factor in time, gas, inventory issues and possible fighting with store employees.

It seems managers now have a much bigger say in when clearance items get marked down. So the price on the app and the price in Brickseek will be the same and lower than the store clearance price. Went through this on a different item yesterday. Even with a call from corporate Target telling them they had to sell it for the price in the app they still refused. Manager said it is his store and he has the final say. Funny how most stores don't understand the no price matching clearance means not to match other stores clearance prices.

Best Buy will price match the Target app price no questions asked.

Every Target near me has it for that price. Could use it for the cloud, but no so sure I couldn't just put the cloud portion together on my own with another drive.

Target store doesn't PM their app. They want $97.98.

If you have spare computing capacity, you could set up Owncloud.

These Target YMMV's are HUGE YMMV's.

The Target app has usually been wrong and guest services refuses to match the price in the app. Either they'll say that they can't match clearance items, the app is wrong, or that the price is the online price which has no bearing on the price they will sell it for in store.

Congratulations to everyone that is lucky enough to get guest service reps nice enough to match, but it seems like most people are losing out on these Target ymmv's.

In other words, don't waste your time unless Target is nearby.

Yea I think it was just by luck I got them to price match because first Target did not want to match. If you try it don't mention anything about the clearance price that it shows in store. I just asked if they could price match it to app and they did.
