Monday, May 23rd through Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 take advantage of our Memorial Day Deals at Discount Tire Direct!

Get up to a $100 Visa(R) Prepaid Card by mail on tires and a $100 Visa(R) Prepaid Card by mail on wheels (excluding Unique and Cragar brands).

Use your Discount Tire Credit Card and get more savings on the above offers!

Get a $60 Visa(R) Prepaid Card by mail on any 4 tires and a $60 Visa(R) Prepaid Card by mail on any 4 wheels.
Example: Yokohama Avid Envigor 225/65-R17: $119.95/tire x 4 = $479.80 - $60 Rebate [discounttiredirect.com] - $75 rebate [discounttiredirect.com] - $60 Credit card rebate [discounttiredirect.com] = $284 shipped. No tax for most.

Example 2: Yokohama AVID Ascend 215 /65 R16: $99.78/tire x 4 = $399.12 - $60 Visa rebate - $100 Visa rebate - $60 Discount Tire credit card rebate = $179.12 for 4 decent tires shipped!

If you own the car, i.e. not lease, and will buy tires in the future, it is highly profitable to sign up for Discount Tire credit card. I have been buying tires from them for the least 10-15 years, and saved a ton of money by using their card every time.

I used to have tires installed at Costco, but now go to Walmart. They charge about $10/tire to install and balance. So, you only pay tax on the $40 installation, not the whole tire purch
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

So if I need two sets of tires, can I apply for the DTD rebates more than once?

Looks like they jacked up the prices on the online site vs. America's Tire (Their B&M website) by at least $15 per tire. Check the B&M site for comparison.

Should match in store. Also, www.discounttire.com is also their B&M site.

if something happens to a tire, they fix/replace it free. If you buy in store, you can haggle the price of the certificates.

My knowledge is severely lacking when it comes to automobile deals, so I could use some help.

I am looking to purchase 3-4 tires and have them installed on my Prius within the next month. I have been planning to do it at Costco, which has a promotion of $70 off a set of 4 Michelin tires, with $15 per tire installation.

This seems like it would be a better deal, and there's an America's Tire location within a half-hour drive from me. I do want to point out that I have no interest in opening a credit card with Discount Tires, so this deal is probably not for me.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

They stack up to $320. I have been doing their rebates for years and I have never had an issue, and they are usually pretty quick. The last time I did it, they sent me an extra $60 rebate for some reason. The best deal is on rims and tires, but you can get a good deal on either separately as well. Also, shipping is free. I stopped using Tire Rack years ago and switched to DTT for that reason alone.
