I can see this getting a price drop at E3 ($99 maybe?), but there's no way this is getting a revision of any sort. Sony doesn't care about the Vita.
This is so tempting... I already bought quite a few vita games for my PS TV, but I haven't played them as I'd prefer to play them on a vita. But with e3 in just a few weeks, there's a chance Sony will announce a price drop or a hardware revision. I mean, I held out this long, a few more weeks can't hurt right?

The seller does offer a full return/refund within 21 days, but of course that ends the day of Sony's conference. And let's not forget, I'd still need to buy one of those overpriced memory cards before I can download any games.

This is the best deal I've seen on a new vita though...

this is the newer LCD model.

very, very little has been accomplished on jail breaking the Vita. that's why Sony is using those damn proprietary memory cards, which ironically is what hurt this awesome handheld worse than piracy ever would have.

it's possible that we could see price drops like this in the future since so many stores are clearing out their inventory, but Sony won't be announcing anything like that, I wouldn't think. lot's of Indies, and JRPG's on the way.

It'd actually be very surprising if Sony had anything at all to say about Vita/handhelds at e3 -- just not even on their radar (instead it's PS4 Neo & VR).

You're probably right. I'm not in to jrpgs at all, but it's the earlier AAA games that I want it for, few as they may be. Some of the indies too. They better drop the prices of those memory cards though

I'm not a fan of them either, but that's what's around. the memory cards were being clearanced out at Wal-Mart. there is a post for it. 4gb=$2.50/8gb=$3.50/16gb=10.00. if your lucky, yours might have some left. a lot of their games (in store) are going for $10.00 each. love my vita. I use it everyday.

I saw that post. Unfortunately the only remnant of PS Vita at 2 local Walmarts was a pack of screen protectors. I did manage to get a PS TV bundle that included an 8gb card, but I already filled it with only 2 games. I'm gonna need at least the 32gb since I plan to go all digital. Thanks for the tip though

I know nothing about these. Do the old PSP games work on this ? My husband loves his PSP but it is starting to show its age.

I'm starting to see a lot of stores no longer carrying the vita. The walmarts around my area no longer have them, target i just see the vita tv's, and fred meyer is gone as well. Since there is no news of anything coming from sony, I can only guess that its being canned. I love my vita though! the slew of JRPG's and being able to play some nifty indie games on the go.

This looks awesome to jailbreak and put my favorite SNES games on it.

This is a great price, but yea, might get a price drop at E3. Plus, for me, the issue was never the price of the Vita itself, it was the ridiculous price for the memory cards. I would want a lot of games, and I'm not willing to shell out another $60 or $70 for a memory card in addition to this 'good deal'. Until those are waaay more reasonable, no Vita for me.
