GTX950 cards have been front paged several times at $130! Very nice.

This is the cheapest card that has an HDMI 2.0 port, allowing 4k@60Hz@4:4:4 over HDMI on supported TVs. [rtings.com]

Have you physically confirmed that? Fry's does say 75W, but I've only seen the 90W version out in the wild so far.

Nice find on the "best value" card according to videocardbenchmarks [videocardbenchmark.net]!

I'm looking to upgrade my video card before the end of the year, but would really like to get the best value for my money AND not spend more than $100. Think I should jump on this, or will there be better deals come black friday?

The answer to your question is actually in the link. model # also corresponds to 75W version.

also, if you look at the upper right of the straight on shot, there does not appear to be a 6 pin power connection.

There's always a better deal, but that's 6 months away. If I were buying now, I'd be all over this.

The 950 is the top value/dollar figured with the price at $130, at $99 it would blow everything else out of the water. Only reason to wait would be if you're thinking of getting into VR, which is going to need a 970 or better, and cost far more than $100.

Nice find, nice card. It's funny that they claim 75W and no additional power needed, but I clearly see 6-pin connector on one of the Frys photos if you scroll to the bottom of the page. So that power connector is just for the looks? Or for overclocking? Newegg has it for $155 with $20 rebate, so here it's a good deal. Cheapest comparable is eBay MSI GTX 950 for $120 plus some ebay bux.

No.... you need it. the 950 is power hungry compared to other low power cards.

you must be thinking of the 750??

You need it (6 pin power connection) on other 950's but this 950 does not need it.

....But (from comments on Anandtech article) "ASUS did not lower frequency of the GPU and did not alter its configuration, though as we've seen with past attempts to produce lower power SKUs, it's likely that this card has a reduced hard power limit to stay under 75W and may be more likely to power-throttle as a result."

Well this is from the description:
Power Consumption up to 75W, no additional PCIe power required

Most likely it's an error , I can't see it mentioned anywhere on ASUS page. Specs do not work on it

i see that now. who knows what frys is doing. the anandtech article indicates that this model #is a 75w and did not mention a 6 pin connection. don't know if frys mixed up thepics, or whether there's an optional 6 pin for OC stability, or what.

Good price relative to other recent 950 deals. If I hadn't just picked up a 960 for $115 I'd consider this for a budget build.
