Hi all, just stopped by a Costco in SoCal that had the 4K Vizio M65-C1 [amazon.com] for $700 (with a 3 year SquareTrade warranty included) and a Samsung UN48JU640 [amazon.com] for $450 (SquareTrade included as well). They were both marked as "Last One" and the salesman wasn't sure if they were floor models or returned, but seeing as the Vizio M Series is about to be refreshed for 2016 and the Samsung model is from 2015 as well, I think there's a chance of them being floor models they're trying to get rid of.

I don't know if this is something that's extended to other Costcos, but figured it was worth mentioning for anybody else interested. We ended up getting the Vizio, but for anybody in Laguna Niguel, CA, the Samsung is still there. The TVs were at the endcap of the aisle next to where the other TVs were being sold. Good luck and I've attached pictures of the TV prices below.

Just came back from my local Costco, and I didn't see any of those models marked down.

I would personally not buy floor model TV's or Projectors. Depending upon how long they were there, they are on 8+ hours every day on probably on burn/high contrast/demo mode

I have never seen these at my Costco repeat I have never seen these at my Costco
They never have close outs or floor models must go right to the staff

It's up to each store manager so each store will mark down how much and what items differently.

The best that our manager would do is throw in the extended warranty for free

The Costco by me has the M65 for 1k they sold the 60" for $800 that I was looking at last week. Didn't feel like dropping that much on a floor model though this was in Bloomingdale IL.

I would stay away from floor models as well, but I dont understand what high contrast does to tax the tv. I know you can significantly extend the backlight life by cutting it back on brightness levels. Plus floor models has the public putting its dirty mitts all over the tvFrown

One thing most people are missing in terms of warranty, is this is Costco. Customer satisfaction guaranteed or money back without question almost. I know they've revised the electronics warranty, but if you get extended warranty for free, then you should be set.

A couple months ago we got the floor model of the UN48JU640 for $450 and very happy with it. It must be a YMMV as to when the managers mark them down to clear them out. I got very lucky that I was in the store the morning it was reduced.
