Hey y'all,

I just finished a Target spree searching for the Seagate 4tb external deal (found 1 woo!)

When I was looking in the clearance aisle, I saw these PS3 Guitar Hero Live on clearance for $23.98. They also had the iphone/apple/ipod/ipad version on sale for $23.98.

Then I went to another Target for the z506 speaker deal, and decided to get a few more pf the Guitar Hero Live games. They did not have any clearance stickers on them at this Target, but they rang up at the counter for $16.78!

So ymmv because I'm not sure if this is nationwide or not. I scanned it with my Target app and it showed up as like $69.99 or something, but rang up at the register at both $23.98 and $16.78, depending on the Target location.

It didn't seem like the Xbox One, PS4, or Xbox 360 versions were on sale, but I didn't really check.

This is the full game with included guitar as well. Can buy 2 for as cheap as $33.56 (without 5% redcard discount) and then sell/trade in the extra game! Everywhere else this seems to be selling the full game + guitar for around $50 or higher.

Nothing sealable close to me, that means whatever they have are either missing pieces or return or display units.

Oh and you won't get $50 for the game-alone anywhere, if that's what you are planning to do, you can get two for sure and hope that you will sell the 2nd game at the same price as the package, about $25 to recover that to make 2nd guitar free.

Thanks for posting the deal.

This was in CO. So maybe it's just a regional thing? I bought a bunch of them with tons leftover in both stores so they literally had a ton.

And yeah the most you'll get for the game by itself is around $20ish on fleabay, so $15ish after shipping+fees. But you could also turn around and sell the new full package (game+guitar) for at least $40 on fleabay.

Why do people vote down and choose "other" I don't get this. SD should remove that nonsense option.

Yeah I saw the iphone version for $23.98 but didn't see it for $16.78! I wonder if hey are accidentally clearancing the ps3 version but meant to only clearance the phone version. The ps3 and iphone boxes look literally the same and I almost bought a few of the iphone versions myself before I realized.

My target notoriously has the worst inventory updates ever because they are always "in stock" for things they don't have- nice deal though for anyone who can get it.

Thanks!

The Target I went to had zero PS3 versions but had two iPhone/iPad versions left. They were labeled as $99, but rang up at $16.78!

That's worked for people before.

Most Target stores honor a "hold" policy too. If you call and get transferred to the Electronics department, you can ask them to hold the item for you at the Electronics checkout area. They'll hold it under the cash register in those cabinets for one day before they put it back on the shelf.

okay ordered online for pickup in store. Once it arrives in store, I will go and ask them to return/exchange and see if they honor the in store price. i will try and remember to report back what I find out. Either way worst case scenario they say no and i flat out return it. What happens after the return? Who knows....

Went to 2 different targets. First target had 5 ps3 versions so got them but they rang up at $55.99? Second target had no ps3 versions but a lot of IPhone versions which rang up at $23.xx.

Looks like every target in my area has a ton of clearance stuff too. Picked up over $790 of clearance items that were WAYYY too good to pass up. A lot of phones are on sale too. It seems they have been snickering a lot of stuff since yesterday. Hit up your local target, you're bound to find some good stuff. Worth the trip.
