Any comment on how these compare with the Brooks Adrenaline GTS or Ravenna 7 for running (10k - half marathon)? I have seen similar prices for those and was wondering if anyone has tried both.

These are neutral and GTS are support shoes. The Ravenna is a nice neutral shoe but not really in same class as wave creation. IMO this is a nicer more comfortable shoe than either that you mentioned.

I used to run in the Brooks GTS and now run in these with a super feet insole replacing the regular insole. They have been a great shoe for me personally.

I'm sure they're fantastic running shoes, but they couldn't have made them any uglier if they tried Big Grin

Thanks OP, just returned a pair of UA shoes for my wife because of fit and decided to get her some good running shoes instead.

These are great shoes no question. They're a cushioned shoe, not supportive, so if you have a neutral to high arch these are the best because they're lighter than the ASICS nimbus, which is actually more expensive

The obligatory "ugly" comment on every shoes deal.

The obligatory ugly shoe Big Grin. Honestly, how hard would it be for them to make running shoes that didn't look like they came out of a mountain dew ad from the 90s?

no kidding. who cares. if you actually run you would know noone cares how running shoes look. it's all about function

one might say the majority of football, basketball and bowling shoes are ugly well

My wife just destroyed her favorite wave prophecy shoes in a warrior dash. According to runner's world these are quite similar. Will make for a nice surprise thanks!
