Costco has this on sale for $X

Not the same stuff. This is a concentrated and fancier version of the brew that Costco sells.

Tests show it's amazeballs! Pointless! Somewhere lukewarm in between!

Yes to both. It's not magic. It's for removing minor deposits. It's not a power wash and heavy grit sander. It's an automotive toothbrush. You won't die without it. And it's too late to fix a cavity. But routine use can help.

Plea for help here - an SDer posted some add'l info from Techron about the difference between the two products. Anyone know where is that thread or can retrieve the info? This is a popular product, same questions always need answers, let's make a permanent wiki, h/t Nashi.

in for 4.....I think these things marginally work, not anywhere near their claims, but any little bit of preventive maintenance helps.

Just did spark plugs on truck and about to clean throttle body and replace IAC and TPS so may as well add this to the list.

12oz. Not the 20oz bottle. Not slick.

That's the injector cleaner one. Not the concentrate plus

I didn't know. Thanks. What's the difference?

The concentrate plus has a higher concentration of PEA (the stuff that cleans your carbon build up)

The 20 oz is listed on the same page for $6.99 which is actually cheaper per ounce than the 12 oz container (37.42cents/oz for 12oz vs 34.95cents/oz for 20oz). I've never actually used the product but might give it a whirl. I've used seafoam in the past, but I can't definitively say I noticed a difference.

Antonio is correct, this and gumout with regane were the two best to use for actual results.

I got two of these earlier from SD deal. since using them last month am having longer crank during start. Battery amps came up low so put new battery. It's little better now but still takes many cranks. Some forums say not to use it on old fuel filters. I never had any crank issues before. May change plugs next. Hopefully it's something else otherwise I may have screwed the fuel system unnecesarily. The product otherwise has great reviews.

This stuff is great, but as someone posted, the 20 oz was $5 a few weeks ago.
Add 20 oz to your cart and then save for later so you can monitor price. Goes to $5 regularly.

I just recently used 2 tanks of this and my mileage went up nearly 2mpg in my 2008 ridgeline. May be the summer fuel though. It did not help my intermittent rough idle though.

May be we need to create a wiki for this product, every time this deal pops up, feels like reinventing the wheeeeeel.
