Don't forget Amazon Prime members get an extra 20% off physical games (pre-orders/new releases). <-- This is incorrect. "The 20% discount applies to an item's List Price and does not apply to an item's already discounted price."
Can still try to request extra 20% from customer service, but if they pull up the Prime savings details, they can and will refuse your request for the extra 20% off. Full Prime details below

1 shameless bump since they actually nailed this release.

Servers held up and buttery smooth the 4 hours I played at launch last night. Big Grin

NO paid future DLC: everything will be free aside from loot cases which ONLY contain cosmetic skins, sprays, voices, etc. These are $1ish each and also earned in game from normal play. There is tons of cosmetic stuff for people to chase.

If u have prime its 47.99 for pc at checkout.
Not sure why there's so much negativity.

It's not a grind, quite the opposite because everything is unlocked and playable. Only cosmetics unlock which I like.

There are not a ton of microtransactions. You can pay for loot boxes to get more cosmetics, or you can get more by simply playing the game. No characters, maps, etc are paid DLC.

No it should not have been F2P, and yes the price is worth it. It's a quality game, and there's no season pass, they've just committed to giving all future characters and maps away for free. Essentially it has a season pass included.

Have you played it? Its selling point is how fun it is. I didn't care about it at all until until I tried the beta. It's extremely fun. At this price I think it's definitely worth it.

Probably because they know the PC version will/has sold like wildfire and they don't need to push that platform like they do the PS4/Xbone.

They lowered the price due to the feedback. Everyone knew it didnt have much content. Should have been a F2P game as anticipated.

Nonetheless, great game, great gameplay. Just lack of content for now, call it Battlefront 2.0

Ill pick it up at $30 or less in digital version only.

So why is blizzard's version of TF2 even worth $49?

This is at most a $20 title. They can just load it with micro transactions. (like they are currently doing)

I'll pass for now....not enough content yet to warrant the price.

BestBuy has it for 47.99 if you have Gamers Club Unlocked. If you do not already have it it is $30 for 2 years. Could be worth it if you purchase games regularly.

Because it's playable on consoles and has an international playerbase. They're also looking into a eSports entry.

Steam is more for North America and TF2 is limited to computers.

Shallow gameplay imo, right now it is just an endless grind for "levels" that award you cosmetics.
