Not sure about the price. But a very good entry level camera with excellent sensor. Used it.

This is a nice price for this camera. Plenty bang for your $

A lot of people call this an "entry level" SLR but you can get some really nice quality photos with this.

Great price, this camera is on par with the D5200 (D5300 is the new model). Would buy one if I didn't find a D3200 on clearance at Sears last week.

A nice feature that makes this camera a little more desirable in my opinion is its ability to buy different lenses (spelling?) for the different applications .. Example : you can buy a lens specifically for taking up-close pictures of small items and you can buy a lens for taking pictures of things very far away such as the moon... Additionally, you can buy a "vibration reduction" version of lens (a little more expensive) that helps to stabilize the image when shooting off hand.. For these reasons I feel the DSLR is better...But some people may argue that the compactness and the ease of use with a typical 6s camera may trump the reasons I have suggested.. Example: if you want to take an unexpected random picture while your at work (or school) you are FAR more likely to be in possession of your 6s than you will be with a DSLR hanging around your neck at work.. For those reasons some may argue the 6s is "better"... You will need to weigh the pros and cons for yourself...Regards jb

I got that camera a couple of weeks ago and it is great. But it does not focussing anymore already. It has 90 days warranty so I should be covered but be aware that you may get unlucky and get a failure at 91 days! Plus it is a hassle... Beautiful pictures when it worked though.

I am in love with my d3300 that I bought from the last posted deal ($199 from Walmart.) I'm definitely an amateur photographer, but this is the best deal I have been able to snag from slick deals yet! I would suggest waiting for another $199 deal to come around. It's sure to happen.
