Norwegian – $401: New York / Fort Lauderdale / Los Angeles – Paris, France. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

TheFlightDeal [theflightdeal.com]

Norwegian has really made travel between the US and Europe more affordable. It will be launching nonstop service from New York, Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles to Paris starting August. Norwegian just loaded fares for travel after October and they are $401 from New York and Fort Lauderdale while it is $427 from Los Angeles.
A quick glance at the schedule:
New York – four times per week
Los Angeles – twice per week
Fort Lauderdale – once per week.
Remember to prepay for luggage if you are traveling with more than 11 kilos or 22 lbs of luggage – it will add $90 roundtrip—still very cheap.

Sample Travel Date:
Sample from New York
November 17th – 22nd
Fare Availability:
Valid for travel from November – March, 2017
Please note that while this fare is valid at time of posting, if this post is more than two days old, the fare is likely gone.

Think Spirit Air level of service here, just an FYI.

does the 22-pound luggage fee apply to carry-on bag as well?

still not as cheap as JFK-LHR flights that I took in 2000 and 2001 that were only $289 and $315 on British Airways. (just checked my old receipts) Frown

Guys just a heads up you have to pay for EVERYTHING when using this airline. Great deal if you have no bags, don't want to eat in flight, and don't mind the middle seat

That, and a company that is named after a country it does not service, who registers its aircraft in Ireland to avoid taxes and labor protections for employees, and employs a recruiter based in Singapore to hire pilots from Thailand. Norwegian is a classic "flag of convenience" operation that can only offer fares like this because everything about it set up for razor thin margins. FYI.

I wouldn't go to Paris for free. There's much safer European cities to visit. Between the terrorists and pocket pickers, be very careful.

Ugh, the reviews from fellow SDers is pretty scary about this airline.

Thanks for posting OP, I'll pass.

This airline is very controversial. Norwegian Air International used crews from Thailand to staff their European flights using the flag of convenience model to skirt labor laws and taxes.Very illegal and against the open skies agreement airlines had originally agreed to. Please do not support this airline.
