I want a 1080p projector primarily for ps4. To run Blurays and games like uncharted. Is this the best option now or are there cheaper options?

If the Product becomes defective during the warranty period BenQ will, at its option, repair or replace the Product. BenQ may use new or reconditioned components or parts to repair the Product, or replace the Product with a new or reconditioned Product of the same or
functionally equivalent model.

BenQ Projector Standard Limited Warranty: Subject to the exclusions set forth
below:
One (1) year from the purchase date by the original retail purchaser (the “Customer”)
(except for lamps as specified below and refurbished units which have a separate
warranty policy of 1 year for parts and labor)
, parts and labor only (No advance replacement).
Lamp Warranty: Lamp is guaranteed 90 days or 500 hours from the purchase date
by the Customer, whichever comes first.
Return Merchandise Authorization Shipping: The Customer will pay shipping
freight to BenQ or a BenQ Authorized Service Provider and BenQ will pay shipping
freight to the Customer during the warranty period.
DOA (Dead On Arrival): Must be reported within thirty (30) days of purchase. An
RMA number must be issued in order to process the replacement. BenQ will replace
the DOA unit with a replacement. BenQ will cover the freight charges
both ways.

Great PJ (I owned one), but watch out for dust within the lens assembly especially with a refurb. They didn't solve the issue that was rampant with the W1070 and so I had to go through several units before I got a decent one. That one eventually ended up getting replaced with the HT2050 by BenQ themselves.

I assume that most of these refurbs are ones that were returned for dust or overheating issues - 2 most common problems with the HT1075.

what problem does the 1070 have? I own one and have never had any issues.

This is why I recently went with the epson 3020. Sure I have read benq replaces defective units (of which there are a lot apparently), but what a hassle.

this is the projector you want - there are other options - none of them hit the sweet spot of price and quality like the benq
